Kindly note that Bureau Veritas has been appointed by the Ministry of Industry & Commerce Zimbabwe for the provision of the Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) program applicable to some categories of used vehicles imported into Zimbabwe from the 1st of June 2022.

The objective of this program is to:

• Protect consumers against dangerous, substandard vehicles
• Improve quality of products through compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Facilitate trade operations by recognising existing conformity proof to avoid unnecessary checking
• Ensure swift clearance with customs.
